Hi! I’m Nancy, and I’m so glad you’ve joined me!

There are a handful of things I’m really passionate about – my family (I’m sure you’ll see a lot of them here), my friendships (I’ve never been one to burn bridges, and some of my closest friendships span nearly 5 decades), music (I’ll admit it – 80’s music was my first love and directed much of my youth), traveling (which really expanded my world … literally! … when I was 16 and I took my first vacation overseas), art history (we can thank Carmen Hill, my high school English/Art History teacher whose contagious enthusiasm really defined what much of my travels would be), and all things Disney (films, music, parks and beloved characters).

 

I grew up a big city girl in Los Angeles enjoying all the culture, entertainment and experiences a big city can offer. I spent much of the 80s in record shops on Melrose, small clubs on the Sunset Strip, reading British import magazines, and writing to my pen pals across the oceans in England, Australia and Poland. I was a content teen.

Fast forward to the present where I find myself on our hobby farm in the backwoods of Michigan, far from big city lights, where my husband and I have raised our beautiful little family and have sent our two kids out into the world as they move on to their next chapters. You hope you’ve done a good job preparing them for life when, really, all you want to do is scoop them up and hold them forever.

And all the while, we traveled. Whether it was visiting family and friends in L.A., flying half way ’round the world to see one of our dearest friends Down Under, or taking the kids on their first international trip to the U.K. (where we also FINALLY got to meet my pen pal of over 30 years), we looked for adventure, history, amazing food, new friendships and to experience everyday life the way of the locals.

 

After years of “playing” travel agent to so many friends, I finally became a professional travel advisor. I was planning my family’s first visit to Walt Disney World and had contacted a travel agent for assistance. Until then, I didn’t even know that specializing in Disney vacations was a thing. Just like that, this Cinderella found her glass slipper. I have spent the last 9+ years living the #dreamjob, loving what I do and loving all the families I have come to know.

I specialize in all Disney destinations – Walt Disney World in Florida, the Disneyland Resort in California, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney (global land tours), Aulani – a Resort and Spa in Hawaii, and Disneyland Paris. I also specialize in Universal Studios (both Orlando and Hollywood), and cruises (to include Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Viking, Oceania, and many more).

My goal has always been to make the planning process as stress-free and fun as I could while laying out the details of a fabulous vacation. I love sharing my experiences, tips and tricks so my client families can simply arrive to their vacation ready to reconnect and make memories. Some people want someone beside them every step of the way to ensure everything is perfect. Others thrive in the planning process and simply want someone to bounce ideas off of or to have a second set of eyes checking over the details.

Journey Wishes is the product of all my years of traveling, planning, and reaching for that next dream vacation. It is my send-off as you embark on your journey.
